Salkehatchie

Salkehatchie -2006

Salkehatchie is a summer mission project of the United Methodist Church in South Carolina. 14 years old to 114 years old take one week out of their summers and serve Christ in this very special ministry.  This is were the “the rubber meets the road” in youth ministry and has become so special to the youth and adults here at St. John’s. You see, it cost $200 dollars for each of us to attend so that we can get up at 5:00 am and work in over 100 degree heat to help the poor. We come home with a special understanding of the Gospel Christ calls us to.

Would you please pray for all of us who do this each summer. PRAYER HELPS!
