Global Impact Celebration
A yearly five day church wide celebration designed to enlarge the global missions vision of St. John's UMC.

Global Impact Celebration

The intended purpose of St. John's annual Global Impact Celebration (GIC) is:

  • To celebrate the church's involvement in global missions.
  • To mobilize the entire congregation for outreach "across the street and across the sea."
  • To effectively saturate the congregation with opportunities for "personalization" regarding outreach.
  • To "bring the world to the local church."
  • To evangelistically witness to the local community as the church effectuallty serves as the hands and feet of Christ to those in need.

Letter from Reverend Howle & Vision Casting

During the GIC, missionaries serving locally in our community, within our nation, and throughout the entire world will be present to talk about their ministries while building relationships with St. John's empowering us to go out into the world to serve our Savior, Jesus Christ.

St. John's Second Annual Global Impact Celebration will be held January 2009.
