Growing Christians - Room 238

The Growing Christians Sunday School Class started over 20 years ago with a core of two to three couples. Today the class has over 50 members. This diverse group consists of couples and singles ranging in age from the 40’s to grandparents.

The best description of the class is reflected in the class goals:

1. To learn to apply Christian principles to every day life through study of the Holy Bible.

2. To provide opportunities for social interaction and support.

3. To support our church and our local community.

Class members volunteer to be the teacher / facilitator.    Course curriculum, usually 6- to 8-week studies, is selected by the curriculum committee. An advent session is usually planned.Missions are very important to the class. Currently, support is provided to the Cumbee Center and ACTS. Special mission projects are recognized and supported on an “as needed” basis.

Anyone interested in this type of class is very WELCOME to join us!

Hope to see you there!
